Plumero comes from spanish word duster and that’s also a name of the Dakar Rally Concept Car – Animation developed for Croatian Dakar Team. Based on the design of Dario Dropucic and engineering by experienced Race Engineering company Kvocic d.o.o. and Faculty of mechanical engineering (Zagreb, Croatia) car was modelled, textured, rigged, animated and rendered in the desert environment. The whole project was executed under short deadline of twelve working days. So more important feels the rigging part of the process which was covered by Fredrik Stenson.

In overall, design of the rally concept car is dedicated to engineering and functionality. There were a lot of rules to follow, regarding the conditions on one side and Dakar compettion guidelines on another. There are still some rules left in digital medium but impression of what is real could be bend. Therefore intention of Art direction was to show and present another emotional, artistic side of the project, still packed with action in counterpart with a nature of a desert.

MK2 Urban Support Vehicle is exclusively build for Auto(r) 2010, 2nd annual Car Design Conference in The Museum of Contemporary Art (Zagreb, Croatia).

MK2 / Mark 2 is a second milestone in the development of civilian version of small electric high mobility multipurpose wheeled vehicle for the 3rd age. Based around standardized full Uni-body, it represents completely armored, completely autonomous design intended for the use in dense urban areas. Multiple rails – racks with addition of variety of modern equipment like AI Computer, HD Cameras, Proximity Sensors, Radar Detection System are eyes and ears of the driver. Picture information is projected on the interior walls providing an artificial feeling of looking through the glass. All together provides a solid support role of any kind. From the list are missed just the weapon system modules, which could be find in the military counterpart version of the vehicle. One of the systems not currently being forbidden for use in civilian versions is Artificial limb cable. A fine example of actually many vehicle systems driven by AI Computer it can operate nearby objects, find and harvest nearby sources of energy. There is also a spare set of batteries on-board the vehicle providing a additional source of electric energy if need it.

Exhibited at Auto(r) – Automotive Design Conference, in Croatian Association of Artist – Ivan Mestrovic’s pavillion, Mark I is a four-person, 4×4, force-field propulsion engined car. Powered by affordable but small civilian versions of generators, it only allows ground level flights. Organic shape reflects simplicity in design and multifunctional use. Lightweight and aerodynamic body makes it fast and agile while its integrity remains uncompromised. By modern standard and high crime rate, special composite material makes the vehicle completely armored or bulletproof. It can be one-way or two-way transparent. All settings are completely adjustable, quite contrary to the glass which has been a matter of the past for some time now. As integral part of the force-field technology, force-field shock absorbers are paired to propulsion engine generators. Color temperature of the trail indicates current power ratio and speed of the moving vehicle. It is also important to emphasize that young drivers are only allowed to drive on auto-pilot until they get at least two years of driving experience.

Core values: Unibody, Automatic, Aerodynamic, Multifunctional, Fast, Agile, Sophisticated, Compact, Lightweight

Dipolar Force Field Propulsion System is United States Patent 4663932, published in 1986 by James E.Cox.

Kraken is a short motion video. These images are a sneak peak to the work in progress based on concept of the future. Project scenario could be our culture transcending to the world of no meaning other than consuming itself. At the end of the production cycle nothing will be left of our society but products itself. Now they freely float in white and sterile spaces as the only remembrance of their creators who build them. Their shape looks like nature in it’s purest form but it is obvious that their creation is artificial. They look alive, but nothing really lives in vacuum of white limbo, other than materialistic manifestation of the brand and it’s core values.
Model 01 is a short motion video, Computer Generated Animation. That was the Final Project for Hyper Island’s Digital Media program. It is about simulated reality, artificial intelligence as unique blend of industrial and organic design. Motion piece is driven solely by it’s visuals. Absence of story and description of any kind puts the Android right in the center. To make it even more experimental, explanations are left to the imagination of the viewers. Their subconscious might perceive environment as some kind of modern cell. There are no walls and boundaries, but nowhere to run as well.

Stages of production were: Pre-Production (Research, Concept, Reference), Production (Modelling, Texturing, Animation, Rendering), Post-Production (Titles & VFX: Motion Blur, DOF etc.).

Heavy influenced by organic forms shape naturaly flows to the functionality of an extension brick. Product is complete only when it is in the use, with all your devices connected. Wires were always a part of chaos we were used to but now that very same chaos is a part of the design itself.

With both industrial and fashion design fields in mind The Bag is project for both; Hi-Tech items called gadgets and ‘Premium’ personal belongins; (wallets, sunglasses etc.). Base materials: rubber, textile. The product is supposed to be hold with a help of strings and in the similiar way we hold American Foootball Ball. If we are emotionally connected to our gadgets, why not hold a product itself in a same way?
