Plumero – 3D animation (720p)

Plumero comes from spanish word duster and that’s also a name of the Dakar Rally Concept Car – Animation developed for Croatian Dakar Team. Based on the design of Dario Dropucic and engineering by experienced Race Engineering company Kvocic d.o.o. and Faculty of mechanical engineering (Zagreb, Croatia) car was modelled, textured, rigged, animated and rendered in the desert environment. The whole project was executed under short deadline of twelve working days. So more important feels the rigging part of the process which was covered by Fredrik Stenson.

In overall, design of the rally concept car is dedicated to engineering and functionality. There were a lot of rules to follow, regarding the conditions on one side and Dakar compettion guidelines on another. There are still some rules left in digital medium but impression of what is real could be bend. Therefore intention of Art direction was to show and present another emotional, artistic side of the project, still packed with action in counterpart with a nature of a desert.

Darker, harder, better, stronger… I introduce you a new standard compliant Version 7. MOTH3R has come a long way from 4th version of my online portfolio. For your information I have skipped 5th and 6th versions of my designs to come up with a current one. Instead of mix of static and WordPress pages all the data is now handled through PHP & MySQL database. Otherwise than a new layout and new information architecture there are bunch of other features. Even though some things are already there hard coded by default I customized WordPress to my needs with a help of complementary plugins. So there is my own implementation of sidebar, post options and details, social networking share system and enabled comments for all the work and news section of the site. Navigation should not be or feel linear at all, you should be able to browse by tabs, tags, sidebar menus, post details or links in the content. I have to announce my move from Windows to Linux server based hosting as well. I can already tell a difference. It is much faster. I cannot feel a thing, the lag I was experiencing before is all gone now. What I am missing the most now are just your comments so if you wanna express your opinion be my guest.
